Install on Firestick / Fire TV

    Allow apps from unknown sources

    On your Firestick go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps. If you don’t see Developer Options, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, then click on your Fire TV Stick name 7 times to unlock it.

    Install the “Downloader” app

    Search for “Downloader” (orange icon, by AFTVnews) in the Amazon Appstore and install it — it’s free. Then enable it under Install Unknown Apps.

    Enter our download link

    Open Downloader and type in: https://straightfromthebench.com/app/SFTB-TV.apk — the app will download automatically.

    Install and launch

    When the download finishes, press Install, then Open. Straight From The Bench will also appear in Your Apps & Channels from now on.

Install on Android TV

    Allow unknown sources

    On your Android TV go to Settings → Apps → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources, and enable it for your browser or file manager.

    Download the app

    Open the browser on your TV (or the Downloader app from Google Play) and go to: https://straightfromthebench.com/app/SFTB-TV.apk

    Install and launch

    Open the downloaded file and press Install. The app will appear on your Android TV home screen.

Android phones & tablets

The same app works on Android phones and tablets too — download the APK from the link above, open it, and allow the install when prompted. iPhone/iPad users can simply use the website in Safari.
